Boneless Charcoal Steak recipe - where to buy charcoal for grill

Hello-I'm new here and have always enjoyed reading all the posts and collecting new recipes to try!I had a boneless charcoal steak in my fridge and my DH (dear husband) bought it at the grocery store and was going to have a barbecue.We never got it, however, and we live in Iowa!Our grill and pie were covered with 9 "snow and it was cold outside!We don't have a grill anywhere else.I want to know if there is any other way to make steak?Crock-pot or oven?I don't want to put it in the fridge.I need something simple too.My family also has picky eaters!Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
