Thursday's protest was in response to the Donald Trump administration's move to expel undocumented immigrants.
Mass demonstrations led to the closure and demonstrations of many businesses, and many went on strike in solidarity with immigration and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) migrants who were detained in large numbers.
However, some workers protected by loose labor laws in the United States have paid a heavy price.
At least 80 people who chose to join the protests and give up their jobs were fired, local news reported.
At least 30 JVS Masonry workers were fired in Denver, and even if they told the boss they would miss the job of supporting the demonstrations, it would be made up in two days.
"The people we have here have families who are afraid to go out and buy a gallon of milk, refuel, go and buy groceries in case they are intercepted and deported, according to KDVR, ray is the head of a ship employee, one of the workers who was fired.
Their boss, Jim Serowski, said that if employees "want to betray the company, then I'm worried . "
In a text message to Ray, Serowski said: "You represent what you believe and make sure that you represent any consequences that will happen . ".
"I have no opinion on immigration law or anything related to this.
"All I know is that I have a business to run," KDVR said . "
He added that workers could ask for their jobs to come back.

A message from the boss to the dismissed employee reads: "You and your family have been fired.
I hope you have a good time and you can enjoy more. Love you.
"In Lexington County, South Carolina, 21 people were fired for participating in the protests.
"Some employers are more supportive and will not dismiss employees, but some employers have the right to do so," a state employment lawyer in the state of labor law such as Melissa Burnett, South Carolina, told WLTX.

The recently intensified ICE deportation was originally planned under Barack Obama's administration of president, and in American history more people were expelled than any other former presidential administration.
But it is the Trump administration that has won the ire of the target immigrant community and its supporters.
Trump promised to expel as many as 3 million illegal criminal workers, and in January 25, the executive order signed expanded the category of undocumented immigrants that the Department of Homeland Security could target, including those who were not convicted.
The order also deprived the federal funds of shelters cities that provide protection for undocumented workers.
In February 9 alone, ICE said more than 160 people had been detained during the raid.
"We recognize that these raids are the efforts of ICE and the new government to spread chaos and intimidate our communities," said David Abd, regional organizer of the National Day Labor organization network.
"They are trying to normalize these attacks against our community and we must be ready to mobilize and resist at all times.
Thomas D. said: "As of May 21, more than 950,000 undocumented immigrants had received final deportation orders.
He is currently acting director of ICE.
