Old Celia woke up in the middle of the night, Ruppels-
And their four cats and two dogs.
They escaped carbon monoxide poisoning at the campups' House.
Now they are urging anyone and everyone to make sure their gas detectors are installed and working properly.
"Our house is 26 years old and we don't have any carbon monoxide detectors," said building assessor Kyle Rupel . ".
"I think this is one of the things we never thought about.
"In the early hours of Friday, Monique Rupel woke up and heard her baby girl cry for the second time that night.
Before going to the door of the bedroom, she was hit by a stun and fell on the bed, waking her husband up.
"We soon realized that we all felt the same way --
We all have dizziness, we all have severe headaches, and our eyes are burning.
When she arrived at Celia's crib and picked her up, the child began to vomit.
"At the same time, one of my cats collapsed under my feet and she lay flat on the floor," Monique Rupp told the province . ".
"We were very hysterical at the time and realized that something very serious had happened.
"Her husband called his parents to pick them up, and the couple packed up their overnight luggage to get on the bus.
Just as Kyle Rupel began to turn black, the grandparents came.
"I remember thinking, 'Is that how it feels to die? ’” he recalled.
"Because I can't get my body to react to what my brain tells me.
His father called 911 and the young family was taken by ambulance to the Royal Inland Hospital.
After a quick assessment, Celia and her parents were flown to Vancouver.

Staff at the veterinary clinic took over the care of the animals and by Saturday night all the people and animals had recovered and returned home.
Monique Rupel says Celia has always been "the best child" throughout the ordeal ".
"She was very obedient to drawing blood and smiling and endured too much," her mother said . ".
"Thank God for giving Celia.
She's our little angel.
That's how we see it.
She absolutely saved our lives. she didn't even know.
"While in Vancouver, Ruppels learned that firefighters could not even get through the front door of their home without their hands --
Carbon monoxide detector starts.
The couple begged friends and family not to delay installing or checking the carbon monoxide detector.
Ruppels also replaced the source of the gas leak-the stove, and installed three new detectors at home.
