stainless steel natural gas grill My grill rusted!! WTH!

Last summer, DH (dear husband) and I bought a new grill at walfart.It looks beautiful.The outside is stainless steel.We also bought a grill cover for it.We baked it several times last summer and covered it in winter.It's not outdoors, it's not anything under our porch.Anyway, we covered the grill and it was rusty outside!All stainless steel.WTH!!??It was covered.Looks like garbage now.
