MUSKOKA LIFE —
Bake marshmallows around crack's crackling fire, from the sun up to the sun down all in the water, explore the endless adventures of the unconquered coastline-these are the memories of the children during the summer in mascoque, when they grow up, this is what they want to give to their children.
Looking for the perfect mascoka Cottage, Greg and his wife Jenn wanted a place to rekindle his memories of spending his childhood summer at the parent's cottage in Lake Joseph, and provide similar experiences for their son and daughter.
But the mascoka Lake cottage they saw didn't have the outdoor space they wanted, a little too far from their city home and lacked the contemporary style they wanted.
About five years ago, when they decided to expand their search to include vacant land further south, they found a rugged lake Kahe property online, drawing their attention.
The hotel is located at the south end of mascoka, 90 minutes from their home, and the location is perfect, but it is not for this reason.
Thick granite walls fall deep into the lake along the 400 feet-kilometer coastline, exposed southwest, and about six acres of lush needle forest provide a private playground for their families that they can't resist.
The couple received the services of Glen Macaulay construction to help them achieve their super
Modern cabin of dreams.
Glen's son, Brian MacAulay, the construction manager at Macaulay construction, said that over the years Jenn's collection of favored design trends and clippings of decorative elements has greatly helped the process.
"When you have a customer like this, it will definitely make the selection process a lot smoother," he notes . ".
"I would say that among all the people I 've built for, Jenn is closest to working with designers without actually using them.
She has a vision for what she wants to do and is doing well.
"Through effective project management and superb craftsmanship, McAullay Construction has successfully put the ideas and dreams of Greg and Jenn into practice.
The couple also relies on the expertise of architect Darcy dounar, who is currently designing a third

"We want to enjoy it.
There will always be something to do in the cabin, but we want to put our legs in at the beginning so we can enjoy it on the road.
