A Queensland family found a giant python in their barbecue.
Sunshine Coast 24/7 snake catcher Stuart McKenzie was summoned to the double water Hotel on New Year's Day to remove the carpet python hidden under the grill.
The incident was filmed and uploaded to Facebook.
This morning, a family in a pair of waters was about to clean up the BBQ for the New Year's Day BBQ party, and they found a medium size carpet hidden under the grill python, MacKenzie wrote on Facebook.
"He was not a popular guest during the celebration, so I came out and settled him down.
Video of the incident showed Mr McKenzie uncovers and then took the grill off the grill.
He found the snake curled up under the grill.
Mr. McKenzie raised the snake calmly and packed it so that the family could start having lunch.
